The Man Without

Collective OHNE presents a cross-media performance which interrogates memory, sexuality and loss. This is the first theatrical adaptation of award winning author Ray Robinson’s work. Using a mixture of recorded media, projection and music – The Man Without creates a portrait of a young care worker surmounting his childhood trauma, loss, depression and accepting the ‘woman in the mirror’.

Featuring a unique soundscape created by electronic artist LING.

Winner of The STYX programming competition on Hiive.

“Evocative of the way in which we remember our lives, not as a single narrative, but as series of events of whose chronology we can't always be sure.” – Louise Welsh, The Guardian (on the book)
